With this vision, the institution’s mission is to educate and train students to achieve excellence in the art and science of dentistry. This involves producing graduates who are not only technically skilled and knowledgeable in biological sciences but also compassionate and sensitive to the needs of patients and the community.

Recognized as the best dental academy in Bhopal, the institution fosters innovative teaching, research, scholarship, and community service. It instills a mindset of inquiry and the importance of lifelong learning among both faculty and students.

The institution offers a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) program with 100 admissions per year, and a Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) program in nine specialties. Under the aegis of Sarvajanik Jankakyan Parmarthik Nyas, the People’s Dental Academy (PDA) was established in 2004, with its first academic session commencing in 2005.

A constituent institute of People’s University since 2011-12, the college is approved by the Dental Council of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Government of India), and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The B.D.S. program is fully recognized by the DCI.
