Library and Information services
The Library and Information Services at PIMR serve as a cornerstone for the academic growth and intellectual pursuits of its community. With a modern collection of resources and innovative services, the library supports a diverse range of learning needs. It boasts an extensive collection of 6,367 books across 2,026 titles, along with 20 national and international journals and a variety of the latest magazines, covering key areas in management studies and computers. Additionally, the library offers electronic resources, including e-journals, databases, audio-visual materials, CDs, case studies, training manuals, conference proceedings and annual reports of leading companies.
Enhancing the learning experience, the Digital Library features four multimedia PCs connected to high speed internet, complemented by a dedicated section for audio and video CDs. The library also holds an institutional membership with the British Council Library, granting students access to world class journals and online resources in the field of management. To support academic activities further, facilities such as photocopying, scanning and printing are available, making the library an invaluable resource for PIMR’s students and faculty.
Digital Library : Empowering Knowledge Access.
The UGC Infonet Digital Library Consortium serves as a vital resource hub, offering comprehensive access to over 1,500 core and peer reviewed journals along with nine bibliographic databases. These resources are sourced from 23 reputable publishers and aggregators, spanning a wide array of disciplines.
Faculty members and students benefit from differentiated access to these e-resources, which encompass diverse fields such as arts, humanities, social sciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences, life sciences, computer sciences, mathematics and statistics. This extensive collection ensures that users from various academic backgrounds can find valuable content tailored to their needs.
This transformative initiative, fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and implemented by the INFLIBNET (Information and Library Network) Centre in Ahmedabad, reflects a commitment to advancing education and research. Additionally, soft copies of popular journals from ICFAI have been subscribed to, further enhancing the repository of knowledge. The UGC-Infonet Digital Library Consortium is not just a gateway to information; it is a cornerstone in building an informed academic community.
Computer Lab
The Computer Lab at our institution is equipped with modern technology designed to enhance learning and research experiences for both students and faculty. With seamless internet access across the campus through a robust broadband link and Wi-Fi network, connectivity is always within reach. Dedicated email facilities further streamline communication for faculty and students. The lab boasts the latest software tools, empowering students to excel in data analysis and web technologies. Additionally, the PIMR intranet facilitates efficient execution of tasks and ensures the smooth flow of data across departments, creating an integrated and collaborative academic environment.
The Classrooms

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as computers, LCD/OHP projectors and a public address system, they seamlessly blend technology with education. Seminar Hall /Conference Room
The Seminar Hall is designed to accommodate up to 150 individuals, offering a spacious and well equipped environment for a variety of presentations and events. It features state-of-the-art audio-visual and presentation tools, ensuring smooth and effective communication for all types of sessions.
The Conference Room, with a seating capacity of 30, provides an intimate setting for faculty to meet and engage with delegations and distinguished professionals from the corporate world. It is an ideal space for focused discussions and networking opportunities.
The Auditorium
The state-of-the-art auditorium at the PEOPLES CAMPUS is a hallmark of its modern infrastructure. Designed to accommodate up to 400 individuals, this fully equipped facility offers an exceptional venue for a variety of events. From engaging management activities and corporate interaction programs to prestigious national seminars, the auditorium provides an ideal setting that combines functionality with contemporary elegance, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.
Medical Facilities
The campus is equipped with exceptional medical facilities through the People’s Hospital, a state-of-the-art 1365-bed hospital associated with the medical college. This modern healthcare facility ensures that students have access to quality medical care right at their doorstep. Students are provided with free first aid services for immediate health concerns. Additionally, advanced medical treatments and specialized care are available at nominal charges, making it both accessible and affordable. Bank & ATM Services at People’s Campus.
The Central Bank of India has inaugurated a branch within the People’s Campus, complete with an attached ATM for convenience. Students can also benefit from the bank’s education loan facilities, designed to support their academic aspirations.
Communications
People’s Campus is equipped with its own dedicated Post Office (PIN: 462037), ensuring seamless postal services. The campus boasts a robust communication network, including over 250 internal EPBX telephone lines and 350 Centex telephone lines from AirTel. To enhance connectivity, all executives and key personnel are provided with mobile phones to meet their communication requirements effectively.
Hostel Facility
The institute’s hostel facility provides students from all corners of the country with a comfortable and homely environment. Surrounded by lush lawns and beautiful plantations, the hostel truly feels like a home away from home. The well-furnished single rooms are spacious, airy and equipped with proper housekeeping services, telephone facilities and essential amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
The hostel also features a clean and hygienic mess attached to a dining hall, offering wholesome meals in a pleasant setting. A common room with a television and cable connection is available for recreation, providing a space for relaxation and socialising. Separate accommodations for boys and girls ensure privacy and security. Rooms are allotted on a first come, first served basis, making the hostel a welcoming and well maintained residential option for students.
Sports & Gymnasium


To promote the all around development of students, the campus encourages active participation in sports and physical activities. It boasts a well equipped stadium that hosts events like cricket, basketball, table tennis and badminton. A modern multi facility gym within the stadium provides students with the perfect space to pursue fitness and well being.
Restaurant / Haat
The campus is home to the all day Indian Coffee House cafeteria, a vibrant hub offering refreshing beverages and snacks to fuel busy minds. Complementing this is the People’s Haat, a lively marketplace providing fresh fruits, vegetables and essential daily items, ensuring convenience for students and staff alike.
