CAMPUS PLACEMENT – HIKE EDUCATION

People’s Institute of Management organized campus placement drive on 15th Sep 2023. The primary objective of the campus drive was to facilitate job opportunities for our students, both at the UG and PG levels. Hike Education, a renowned organization in the field of educational technology and online learning, expressed a keen interest in recruiting our students for various positions, including instructional designers, content developers, and software developers. This event aimed to bridge the gap between the educational and professional worlds by connecting our talented students with a reputable industry player.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and the Hike Education team. Approximately 100 students from various disciplines attended the campus drive. They came well-prepared with their resumes and demonstrated a strong interest in the opportunities offered by Hike Education.

Hike Education, represented by their recruitment team was led by Ms. Megha Dhar (HR Manager)

Event Highlights:

  • Company Presentation: The campus drive began with an insightful presentation by Ms. Megha Dhar & her team, who provided an overview of Hike Education, its mission, and job description.
  • Resume Collection: Students eagerly submitted their resumes to the team. The recruitment team reviewed the resumes, offering constructive feedback to the students, which was highly beneficial.
  •  Group Discussions: The recruitment team conducted Group Discussions with all the candidates. It helped the team to shortlist the candidates for further process.
  • Personal Interview Session: A one on one PI session was organized, allowing recruiting team to analyze shortlisted students better.

The Hike Education team was impressed by the high-caliber talent pool and the enthusiasm displayed by our students. Following students were finally placed after a rigourous recruitment process:

BAJAJ FINANCE – INTERNSHIP

 In a remarkable achievement, five students from the final semester of People’s Institute of Management & Research have been selected to participate in a prestigious 45-day paid internship program at Bajaj Finance. The opportunity not only offers students practical exposure to the financial industry but is also a testament to their academic excellence and dedication to their studies.

This valuable internship is a mandatory component of the academic curriculum, providing students with a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between the classroom and the corporate world. Under the guidance of Bajaj Finance’s HR Manager, Janvi Rane, these aspiring professionals will gain firsthand experience in the dynamic field of finance.

This remarkable achievement highlights the commitment of [People’s Institute of Management & Research for providing holistic education that prepares students for success in their chosen fields.

Celebration – AAGHAAZ 2022.

*PIMR Students* celebration ‘Freshers & Farewell’ named “*AAGHAAZ 2022 *” in People’s University on 17-12-2022.

“Its all about to the students, by the students & for the students”.
But these moments will become memorable anecdotes that they will one day feel with touched emotion. Students of PIMR recently flaunted their ethnic avatars at ” *AAGHAAZ* “held at their college. Not only students, but the faculty also came all decked-up for the occasion, which included a ramp-walk round -the main attraction of the day along with dance performances ,games and singing. In event girls wore sarees, boys complemented in formal wear for the occasion.An expression of gratitude, with joy & fun!! The event was followed by awards and lunch along with gifts to all the students

Career Enhancement Cell Formed at PIMR

As per quality initiatives 2022-23 taken by People’s University, People’s Institute of Management and Research has formed a Career Enhancement Cell, headed by Dr. Sunil Agrawal, Principal, PIMR in the Institute. The cell is constituted to train students for their future prospects with respect to their interest areas.
