This committee is for empowerment and improving of women power as well as for their safety and protection purpose via assisting women through positive support, positive action, and awareness of the current scenario of the Indian constitution as well as status of women in the society.
Key functions of the committee:
- In urgent situation a meeting of ICC and Women’s grievance and redressal cell shall be called and the application shall be reviewed.
- For minor complaints the committee shall recommend the HOI for required action.
- For major case the cell shall seek the assistance of People’s University Committee and inform the local police station for further action. In case of confirmation action shall be on immediate effect.
