Stem Cell Research being the most promising field in Medical Science has great prospect for both curing the illness as well as providing hope for the patients inflicted with in-curable diseases.

Stem Cell Technology Laboratory (SCTL) was started with a vision to provide advance research facilities in Central India and thus it has all the services, equipments and facilities.

In SCTL, two researchers with fundamental training on stem cell [Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC) and Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSC)] and animal culturing are working on isolation of stem cells derived from animal bone marrow and determination of anticancerous activity from different plant and microbes.

The Laboratory stays abreast to the latest stem cell research technology and has the best research equipment (MACS, Flow cytometer, inverted microscope, carbon dioxide incubator) for isolation and culturing of stem cells.

We perform cell viability assay and potential dose-dependency of compounds derived from different plants and microbes in order to identify novel agents and pathways that affect cell fate. SCTL provides training and dissertation facilities to teach PG students and doctors with technical skills to culture and maintain animal and stem cells.
