Under the leadership of Dean, Dr Parimala Kulkarni, college continues to uphold its mission of preparing competent and compassionate dental professionals. Alongwith heading the department of paediatrics and preventive dentistry at People’s college of dental sciences and research centre,she is also the member of board of management- People’s University, Dean Dental Faculty- People’s University and She is the co-editor of People’s Journal of Scientific Research- People’s University.
She is immediate past president of the Indian society of pedodontics and preventive dentistry (ISPPD) and has been awarded as distinguished women by ISPPD & Women of the year by MPDCSS (Women cell). A Clinician with exclusive Pediatric dentistry practice and an Academician of over 23 years’ experience by mentoring Undergraduates, Postgraduates and PhD scholars and takes great pride in mentoring them.She has more than 80 Publications in National and International journals, 9 patents and 2book contributions to her credit.
