The integration of holistic diagnosis and treatment planning is carried out in this discipline, notwithstanding the medical management of oral disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Oral Medicine<\/strong> is a clinical discipline that encompasses the following:-<br>A.Diagnosis and medical management of diseases of oral mucosa, jaws, teeth, salivary glands, and oral manifestations of systemic disorders.<br>B.Diagnosis and medical management of orofacial and temporomandibular joint disorders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diagnosis and early management of potentially cancerous conditions of the mouth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-surgical management of medically related disorders that affect the oral and maxillofacial regions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Oral &amp; Maxillofacial Radiology-<\/strong><br>Intraoral imaging and extraoral radiography which primarily aid in the diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up of the patients, are carried out in the department, efficiently. The department boasts of conventional and digital imaging facilities,made available at economical prices to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A highlight of the radiology department is the usage of Cone Beam Computerised Tomography which is an advanced imaging modality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Head of Department<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DR.
