They are fully equipped and catering to the needs of Dental health care of the local areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0Sambhavana Trust (For Bhopal Gas Victims)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0Railway Hospital<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0Berasia Hospital<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0Primary Health Care Centre \u2013 Gunga<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B) TRAINING OF SCHOOL TEACHERS ON DENTAL HEALTH<\/strong><br>Department of&nbsp;Public Health&nbsp;Dentistry invites a group of teachers from schools to the Institution and organizes&nbsp;DENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION AND AWARENESS&nbsp;workshops regularly.&nbsp; The teachers are made fully aware of the dental problems and preventive measures by use of audiovisual gadgets like models, charts, projection slides, and power point presentations. The teachers are taken around the departments to show them the modalities of preventive and corrective measures of the dental problems. The aim is to educate teachers and to enable them to impart Dental Health Education to the school children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>C) TRAINING OF CLASS IV EMPLOYEES ON HEALTH<\/strong>.<br>The training programmes are conducted periodically on various aspects of health for Class IV employees of all the Institutions in People\u2019s University. The aspects covered are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AIDS And Preventive Measures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disposal\u00a0of\u00a0Biomedical waste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dental Health Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>D) DENTAL HEALTH CAMPS<\/strong><br>The Department of&nbsp;Public Health&nbsp;Dentistry conducts regularly dental check up and treatment camps in schools and rural areas.&nbsp;Mobile Dental Clinic (Bus) is taken to the camps to extend treatment facilities. The bus is equipped with the audiovisual equipment, TV and DVD player to extend the Dental Health education. Models and charts are also carried to the camps for educating the masses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>PROSTHODONTIST DAY CELEBRATION (22&nbsp;JANUARY 2019) AT PCDS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the occasion of Prosthodontics Day, Department of Prosthodontics, PCDS&amp;RC organised an event which had Rangoli Competition (on the theme of highlighting the various treatment and rehabilitation procedures pertaining to Prosthodontics) and Dental Art competition for under graduates and post Graduate students. Rangoli competition was won by Dr.Apoorwa Awasthi , Dr.Deepali Dongle and Dr.Priyangi Singh. The dental art competition was won by Mayank Malviya,Final year student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FATHERS DAY CELEBRATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The members of students council initiated to mark Father\u2019s day, where all the students got an<br>opportunity to express there feelings towards there fathers. They organized 2 competitions \u2013<br>1.) \u201c100 words expression\u201d where everyone got a chance to express there feelings and gratitude<br>towards there respective fathers in 100 or less than 100 words in the form of poetry, quotes or<br>lines.<br>2.) \u201cFeelings on paper\u201d which was a sketching competition where students made beautiful<br>sketches related to there fathers.<br>The event was beautifully conducted and the enthusiasm of students was the cherry on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>POST GRADUATE ORIENTATION DAY AT PCDS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ORAL HYGIENE DAY CELEBRATION AT PCDS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1<sup>ST<\/sup> August\u201919: Oral Hygiene Day celebration: The day was celebrated with a lot of zest and zeal in PCDS &amp; RC in the presence of Dean, Dr.Ajay Bhambal, Vice Deans, Dr.Parimala Tyagi &amp; Dr.Swapnil Parlani, Faculty of the Department of Periodontics, Dr.Veena Kalburgi (HOD), Dr.Kapil Jain (Professor), Dr.Sumedha Srivastav, Dr.Sonal Wakhale, Dr.Vartika Katoch, Dr.Somil Saxena &amp; Dr.Seema Vanshkar and the HODs of all the respective departments. The programme commenced with \u2018Saraswati Vandana\u2019 and lightening of the lamp in remembrance of Dr.Govind B Shankwalkar.
