People\u2019s Institute of Legal Studies (PILS) hosted an impactful “Drug-Free India” awareness session at the PILS Seminar Hall. The program aimed to educate students on the severe physical, mental, and legal consequences of substance abuse. Expert speakers emphasized the importance of mental clarity, healthy lifestyle choices, and individual social responsibility. The interactive session concluded with students and faculty taking a collective pledge to stay away from narcotics and promote a healthy, drug-free society.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

On August 14, 2026, The People’s Institute of Legal Studies held a mental health awareness session titled “Understanding Change, Stress, and Well-being” for new B.A. LL.B. students.Led by Campus Psychologist Srishtee Shaina Lall, the event helped freshmen smoothly transition into professional legal education. Students learned practical stress-reduction techniques, coping strategies, and academic burnout prevention. Ms. Lall emphasized that seeking help shows strength and highlighted the university’s institutional counselling services at Room 31,(3RD<\/sup> floor) PU Building, equipping students with emotional resilience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

On July 23, 2026, the People’s Institute of Legal Studies, Bhopal, conducted a mandatory orientation for law students preparing for a 21-day internship at the District Court and DLSA, following recent Bar Council of India (BCI) directives. Chaired by Principal Dr. Ravi Kant Gupta and Co-Ordinator Dr. Prince Kumar Gupta, the session outlined strict compliance rules, including a signed Undertaking requirement and a strict dress code. To preserve legal integrity and court decorum, the BCI strictly prohibits photography, video creation, and sharing case details online. Violations will result in immediate internship cancellation and disciplinary action.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Students engaged in a campus-wide cleanliness drive, planted native saplings, and participated in an interactive seminar on environmental laws. As per UGC direction letter dated DO No. 91-5\/2021(GS) 22 Nov, 2022. Chairman ICC (Internal Complaint Committee) with the help of Cultural club (Ms Eisha Ganju) under the guidance of DSW Mr. Sanjay Singh organised Painting Competition in People\u2019s University Campus on gender equality. We had 42 participants. We got so many beautiful paintings out of this.
Outcome of the event:The competition led to the enthusiasm within the students and the hidden talents were also seen and appreciated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
