SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The college NSS unit adopted 5 Aganwadi for the promotional activities.

Continuous Health awareness program & Screening are conducted at remote areas of Bhopal.

Special days like TB day, Malaria day, Cancer day, Hemophilia day, AIDS Day, Kidney Day, Employee Safety day etc. are celebrated among the layman to enhancing the primary prevention.

Various activities like Plantation Drive, Swachhta Abhiyan, Eradication of Illiteracy, Drug De-addiction Drive etc. are conducted by NCC Cadets & NSS Volunteers of the College.

Activities like Joy of Giving, Promotion of Yoga & Fitness, Motivational Program etc. were organized at Orphanage Centre, Old Age Home etc. by the students.

Water Conservation, Polythene Free Environment, Organic Kitchen Garden Harvesting, Door to Door Extension Services of various Govt. Agencies were done at 5 Adopted Villages.

Mass Drive Activities like cleaning the pond in near by area, Improving the park etc. are also done by the student.

7.1/12/2022World AIDS day celebrationPoster making competition was organize on the Theme- “End inequality with AIDS victim in which Shamal Bopche student of BPT 3rd year won the first price.– Blood donation camp was organized at People`s Hospital in which 18 students of PCPS donated blood successfully.– In the second half speech competition was held and the winner was once again Shamal Bopche among the 7 other participants.-After the speech competition it was the guest of honor :  Dr C.S. Verma (Medical Ofiicer Barasiya)who facilitated students with his knowledge. He explained about the AIDS and its consequences.-In the end NSS Coordinator girls unit Mrs Tabish Aliya Khan expressed gratitude to the guest of Honour and all the students and faculties present.

19.06/10/2023Joy of Giving·      As a part of Gandhi Jayanti, 1st week of October 2023, NSS boys and girls unit of PCPS celebrates the, “Joy Of Giving Week”The materials like stationary cloths, food items distributed to nearby Slums area of Ayodhya Nagar Bhopal, about 15 NSS volunteers  personally distribute the items to the needy.·
20.10/10/2023World Mental Health Day·      In 1992, at the World Federation for Mental Health Congress in Cape Town, South Africa, the concept of observing a day to raise awareness of mental health issues was first put out.·      Every year world mental health day is celebrated on 10th of Octuber.·     In PCPS as well a seminar with speaker Dr Naved Ahmed was conducted in the seminar hall New building in which 75 girls and 49 boys participated
