It serves as the over-arching body mandated to ensure appropriate policy in place of governing all researches conducted under \u201cThe Institution\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Membership:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee of IRC will include the Chairperson, Vice chairperson, at least 2 members from each program and 1 minimum External member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The basic policy consist Monitoring, Promotion, and upgradation of knowledge for students and staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To recommend research ethics policy to the University Research Committee for adoption &amp; implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To take care of the responsibility for the consent of the University policy on good research practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To serve as an arbitrator on matters pertaining to research policy in institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be responsible for appropriate linkages with external organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To superintend the provision of relevant research ethics policy information for staff and students engaged in research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To advance proposals for streamlining the process of ethical review in University, while safeguarding maximal compliances with the policy on Good Research Practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Furnishing an annual report to the University Research Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To recommend policies pertaining to research integrity to the University Research Committee for adoption and implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To create research environment in the institute at all levels extending from staff to students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To develop a concrete policy and implement measures for promotion of research activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Periodic management and monitoring of research performance and upliftment of research work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To enhance research promotional activities such as Staff Development Programme and Workshops to improve quality research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To enhance Evidence Based Practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Structure &amp; Policy of IRC: The \u201cInstitutional Research Committee\u201d (IRC) is a functional unit, that acts as a standing Subcommittee of the University Research Committee.
