The Faculty members have advanced graduate training, aiding student leadership in research and education. Oral Pathology develops dental student\u2019s knowledge and skill in comprehensive patient evaluation and diagnosis in treatment planning. The curriculum is well integrated with other departments helping the students to have holistic approach towards oral diseases.<strong> Location &#8211;&nbsp;First Floor, Room No-103<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scope<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Oral pathology is that part of pathology and a branch of dentistry concerned with the scientific study of the causes and effects of oral disease and understanding of which are essential for diagnosis and for the development of rational treatment and preventive programmes.<br>This branch of dentistry is a confluence of basic sciences and clinical dentistry and covers hematology, biochemistry, immunology, serology, microbiology, oncology, histopathology and cytopathology.<br>There are number of cases reported annually ranging from infectious diseases to tumors to cysts. The students are trained and sharpen their research skills, strengthen their basic concepts by applications in clinical subjects like Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery as well as Oral Medicine and Radiology. He has done his Fellowship in Forensic Odontology from the Indian Board of Forensic Odontology in the year 2019 and Fellowship in Academy of General education from Manipal, Karnataka in the year 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Anish Gupta has a keen interest in teaching and learning.
