Logical Model for Medical Decision Making
Healthcare delivery is a data-intensive field. A natural domain for the deployment of computer systems to manage data/information. The presentation will cover a fundamental overview of a model of the clinical decision-making model. The understandings have been applied in integrated models in current data collection models to assist Physicians with Decision Support. A system designed to deliver Clinical and Critical alerts.

Dr K Moidu

Dr. Moidu is a medical graduate from the Armed forces Medical College, Pune University, India. He later earned his doctorate in medical informatics from Linköping University, Sweden. In 1998 completed a Health Policy and Business Development program at Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Boston. He has served in leadership roles in clinical service, Informatics, and management of operations, at ambulatory and hospital settings. Served on assignments as an Advisor on short term assignments to the World Health Organization. In Academia, he conducted informatics training and applied research by the bedside including AI? Clinical Decision Support. The sites covered included clinical centers and hospital systems. He has established undergraduate and post-graduate programs in Health Informatics at public and private universities.
