The Department of Mechanical Engineering has started from the session 2007-08. Presently it offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering. The Department offers Master of Technology course in Thermal Engineering. Mechanical Engineers are involved with the Design, Analysis, Testing, Manufacturing, Control, Operation, and Maintenance of Mechanical Systems. The Department has well-equipped labs of Fluid Mechanics, Heat & Mass Transfer, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Computer Numerical Control(CNC), Dynamics of Machines, Basic Mechanical Engineering, Strength of Material etc. and Workshop Facilities with state-of-the-art equipment to carry out research in all areas related to Mechanical Engineering. This department has dedicated and competent faculty members to impart quality education, project guidance, personality development to enable them to be placed with reputed organizations and fulfill industrial needs. Achievements

• Mr. Mukesh Diwakar Student from Mechanical Department Participated in NCC and National Republic Day Parade, New Delhi 2016.Also he is going to represent India in “Youth Exchange Program” organized by Govt. of India.
• Students from Mechanical Department Participated in Scouts & Guide and Awarded Rashtrapati Award, By President of India, New Delhi.
• Team of Wild Racer of 25 Students fabricated QUAD Bike and participated in ISNEE competition. Received Rs. 15000/- cash price in Skid Pad Round Awarded by ISNEE-2014
• Mr. Divyanshu Joshi  got 3rd position in Robotics Competition in Oriental Instituted of Science & Technology, Bhopal
• Mr. Amresh Upadhayay got 1st position in Singing Competition in Oriental Instituted of Science & Technology, Bhopal
