In this modern world, kidney problems are very common which are primary or secondary to various conditions like diabetes, hypertension, adverse effects of drugs, alcoholism, poor food habits and life style etc. Role of dialysis technician is to help the patient to separate the toxic waste and harmful metabolites or chemicals from their blood (which the kidneys normally do) through various dialyzers or procedures.

  • Duration: 2 Years Diploma Course
  • Eligibility: 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) or its equivalent with 40%
  • Age: Minimum 17 yr. on/before 30th November of the year of admission.

Objectives:

  • To prepare the students to assist the Nephrologists in the hospital/dialysis unit.
  • To familiarize them with various types of dialyzers and their operation.
  • To train the students for dealing with various patients in ICU, Nephrology ward and community visits
