Meditation Session

A Meditation Session was organized at the Department of humanities and social sciences, at 10.30AM, 11.11.2025 with the aim of reconnecting students and faculty members with India’s ancient values of spirituality and inner well-being. The session emphasized the importance of mindfulness, self-awareness, and peace of mind in academic and personal life.

The event began with a brief introduction on the significance of meditation in Indian tradition, highlighting how spiritual practices have long been an integral part of our cultural heritage. The resource person Dr. Shubham saxena guided participants through simple  meditation  and mindfulness techniques designed to relieve stress and promote peace.

Students and faculty members participated enthusiastically, experiencing a sense of calm and peace. The session also encouraged everyone to adopt meditation as a daily practice for holistic development and emotional balance.

In conclusion, the meditation session successfully revived the essence of our ancient spiritual values, reminding all participants that true education encompasses not only intellectual growth but also inner peace and harmony.
