Overview
The Diploma in Engineering offered by the School of Research and Technology is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge needed to work as a technician. The course offers an overview of the basic principles of engineering; including some of the principles and practices associated with engineering applications, technical drawing, workshop practice and field application. These courses provide students with the opportunity to gain experience through hands-on practice through the use of laboratories, workshops and on-the-job training.
While taking these courses, in addition to developing technical skills, the focus is on developing problem-solving abilities as well as gaining the technical competencies necessary to support engineering operations and maintenance.

Duration: Three years combining classroom learning with extensive practical training and workshops
Level: Diploma
Eligibility: Passed 10th Std./SSC examination Lateral Entry: Passed 10+2 examination in subjects mentioned above. OR Passed 10th examination along with 2 year ITI in respective trade.
