General Nursing & Midwifery

Eligibility Criteria Academic Qualification For Admission

  • Should have attained or shall attain the age of 17 years (as on 31st December of that year).
  • Have passed 10th & 12th from recognized Board.
  • Have passed 12th std preferably in Science stream in the first attempt with minimum 45% aggregate marks
  • Have qualified for GNM, Nursing GNMST examination.

B.Sc. Nursing

Eligibility Criteria Academic Qualification For Admission

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

Minimum education:

For OPEN Category : 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board

For Reserved Category : 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 40% marks from recognized board under MP Board /CBSE/ICSE  or other equivalent Board.

  • Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Have qualified  for B.Sc. Nursing PNST examination .

Post Basic Nursing

Eligibility Criteria Academic Qualification For Admission

The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of:

Higher Secondary School certificate Examination (10 + 2)
OR
Senior School certificate Examination (10+2) Pre degree Examination (10+2)
OR 

GNM (Diploma in nursing) should be passed
Criteria For Selection

  • The admission in Basic B.Sc N 1st year shall be based on the P.B.BSc qualified   test or qualifying entrance examination. Conducted by MP Government  
  • Candidate shall be medically fit.
  • Have qualified for PB B.Sc. Nursing PBBST examination.

Masters in Nursing

Academic Qualification For Admission

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  • The Minimum education requirements shall be the completion and passing of: B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
  • Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • Candidate shall be medically fit.
  • Have qualified  for M.Sc. Nursing MNST examination.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission Process 

  1. The admission to all courses of nursing is governed by norms of Indian Nursing Council and statutes and ordinance of the People’s University, Bhopal.
  2. To secure admission in B.Sc Nursing, GNM,PBBSC and M.Sc Nursing  the candidate must qualified PNST,GNMST,PBBST,AND MNST Examinations.
  3. After result declaration the candidate must registered MP online portal for admission.
  4. Fill out personal detail than exam scores and college preference for seat allotments
  5. The M.P Nursing council conduct seat allotments based on rank and category.
  6. Students who gets allotments must download the allotment letters.

  • 8 Passport size photograph
  • Domicile Certificate Original  and Xerox
  • School/college leaving Certificate
  • SSC, HSC Mark list in Original (with 3 sets of Xerox)
  • Equivalency Certificate (For candidates who have passed from any other board other than M.P State Board)
  • Gap Certificate, if applicable
  • Aadhar Card  Original  and Xerox
  • Medical Fitness
  • Caste certificate
  • Parents PAN Card
  • Income certificate
