Students with a strong humanities foundation approach these exams with a subject advantage. The department supports this through structured coaching, study materials, and practice assessments.

Educational and Research Professions: Teaching at either the elementary, secondary, or higher education levels continues to be one of the most highly regarded professions throughout the United States. As a result, these programs prepare graduates for work environments in which they will apply what they learned through 3-5 years of intense study in the humanities.

Careers in the Corporate Sector & Human Resources: Businesses in virtually every sector, from banking and consulting to technology and retail, need professionals who have an understanding of workplace behavior, communication management, team development, etc. Humanities graduates are well-prepared for this type of work and companies such as TCS, Wipro and Amazon, have maintained strong hiring needs for graduates from People’s University.

The healthcare, governance, and public policy sectors in India are growing quickly and have therefore continually created a demand for individuals who sit at the intersection of and understand both human behavior and institutional thinking.
