Programmes Offered
PDA provides BDS for undergraduate studies but MDS for postgraduate studies.
The BDS course is a five-year program and includes a year of compulsory internship. Clinical practice begins earlier than the year of internship because the students begin learning through practical clinical work using actual patients while under the guidance of their lecturers.
MDS course lasts for three years. It is available in nine specialties, which include Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Public Health Dentistry and Oral Medicine & Radiology.

Eligibility
For BDS — 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, minimum 50% aggregate, valid NEET-UG score and a minimum age of 17 at the time of admission.
For MDS — BDS degree from a DCI-recognized institution, internship completion certificate and a valid NEET-MDS score.

How Admissions Work
There is no separate entrance test at PDA. Admissions are based entirely on NEET merit.
After results are declared, candidates register for centralized counselling under the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh. Seat allotment follows based on rank, category and availability. Once allotted, candidates report to the college for document verification and fee payment to confirm their seat.

About PDA
Established in 2004, People’s Dental Academy is approved by the Dental Council of India and recognised by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It is a constituent college of People’s University, Bhopal.
The college is attached to a 1500-bedded hospital giving students consistent patient exposure throughout their training.
