NEET Result 2026 – What Comes Next
After your exam is over, it is time to wait for your results. The NEET results 2026 are due to be declared on the website nta.ac.in by the National Testing Agency. Stay tuned for any official announcement regarding your results.
Once results are declared, cut-off scores will also be released category-wise. Based on previous years, here is a general idea of where the cut-off marks for NEET 2026 are likely to stand:
| Category | Expected Cut-off Range |
| General | (720 – 137) |
| OBC / SC / ST | (136 – 107) |
| General – PwD | (136 – 121) |
These are indicative figures and may vary based on this year’s difficulty level and overall candidate performance. The official NTA website remains the only reliable source for confirmed numbers.
What If I Fail in NEET – An Honest Conversation
This is perhaps the question weighing heaviest on many minds right now. And it deserves an honest answer — not a rehearsed one.
Not clearing NEET is painful. There is no point pretending otherwise. Months of preparation, family expectations, personal ambitions — it all comes rushing in the moment results do not go your way. That feeling is real, and it is valid.
But here is what is equally real — one exam result does not determine the trajectory of your life.
Medicine is one path into healthcare and life sciences. It is not the only one. Across the country, thousands of students who did not clear NEET in their first or second attempt went on to build deeply fulfilling, respected careers — through different programmes, different institutions, and different routes that led to the same sense of purpose they were always chasing.
