Key Initiatives

MOU with FRAC:

FRAC (Food Research and Analysis Centre) is a professional organization engaged in food testing, quality analysis, research, consultancy, and training services.The Department of Food Engineering and Technology, School of Research and Technology (SORT), People’s University has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FRAC, a reputed organization engaged in research, testing, analysis, and consultancy services in the areas of food, biotechnology, and allied sciences. It works in the domain of food safety, nutrition analysis, microbiological and chemical testing, and compliance with FSSAI and other regulatory standards. FRAC plays an important role in promoting industry–academia collaboration by providing practical exposure, internships, skill-based training, and research support to students and faculty in the fields of Biotechnology, Food Engineering and Technology, and Life Sciences. This MoU aims to facilitate student internships, industrial training, expert lectures, collaborative research, and skill development programs, thereby enhancing practical learning, employability, and research orientation among students.
